Chardonnay’s Cozy Kitchen Tip
For the best blueberry flavor in the glaze, gently smash the blueberries instead of completely puréeing them. This releases their natural juices while keeping little pieces of blueberry throughout the glaze.
Recipe Notes
- Blueberries: Fresh blueberries work beautifully in this recipe.
- Glaze consistency: Add the milk gradually if needed to reach your preferred drizzling consistency.
- Cooling: Make sure the loaf is completely cool before glazing so the glaze stays on top instead of melting into the cake.
- Storage: Store leftover glazed loaf in an airtight container according to the storage recommendations for the cake mix ingredients.
